World Studies- World History:
This portion of the class is a general overview of the periods of time from Pre-history to WWII during this year. The purpose of this course is to give you a background on the history of the world because the ideas, events, and people of the past have shaped the world that we live in today. You will be analyzing Primary and Secondary sources to give you the resources you need to think critically about the past and its impact on future events and times. You will also be learning/using skills to help you in the future- study skills and strategies, listening, time management, organization, responsibility, and many others.
We will be using Google Classroom for all assignments, so it is important to check it on a daily basis. It is essential to check it if you have been gone so that you do not fall behind.
You will receive half credit for late assignments until the end of the unit that it was assigned in. Any assignment not received by then will be a zero. This applies to daily work assignments and not to projects.
For projects a letter grade will be deducted each day it is late.
Cheating of any kind will result in a zero
